Three problems should be paid attention to when the belt filter is overhauled:
a. The problem of the surface accuracy of the rubber roller of the press roller occurs when the roller surface of the press roller is damaged or re-coated/plasticized. The rubber roller surface is damaged, the outer circle of the roller surface is irregularly elliptical, and the roller column is cone-shaped, etc. After the roll rubber/plastic hanging treatment, the lathe is used for finishing treatment, and the roundness tolerance grade of the press roll should refer to the 10th grade.
b. The incorrect installation position of the belt press rolls is likely to occur after the sludge dewatering machine is overhauled. After the first operation of the sludge dewatering machine, all the press rolls need to be tested and corrected in the horizontal and parallel directions.
Parallel direction correction can select the mud outlet frame as the reference surface, and measure the distance from the center point of the left and right support bearings of each press roll to the reference surface. The cumulative horizontal distance deviation of the press roll should be ≤5mm;
For horizontal correction, the principle of U-tube can be applied, and a simple measuring tool made of water-injected transparent rubber tube is used for detection. The deviation of the vertical distance between the center points of the left and right bearings of the press roller should be ≤1mm.
c. The bearing failure at both ends of the press roll of the belt filter press needs to strengthen the inspection and maintenance of the bearing during operation. If the problem is found, replace it in time to prevent the expansion of the failure (roller wear and deviation of the mesh belt will be discounted.
